Men Of Science 2 is a HUGE success!

Thanks to everyone who has made this mix a huge success! The reviews are in and it comes out in the form of people texting me at parties telling me that the MOS 2 mix was the focus of a huge dance floor gathering. It also comes in the form of people being able to listen to it again and again with out getting tired of it!
Thanks goes out to all the party people out there that still know how to get down! :P And a special thank you to Ian Linden, the original other half of Parallel for getting the MOS 2 mix on his new Radio show!
Catching Up On News

There was been a dubstep mix that sort of just slipped out. It is the sequel to the first Rubba Dub mix, it is Rubba Dub Volume 2. Out of all of the mixes I have personally recorded, this is probably my most listened to by myself. I grabbed a bunch of very new tracks for this, still hot.
In more recent news we have a huge back-catalog of mixes put up by Ian Cowan in the Supported DJs section of the website. Please go over there to check them out, if you are a fan of Progressive House, or Progressive House like music you will certainly enjoy what he has to offer.
There isn't a whole lot coming up on this website, I might make an event section just as sort of a resume or maybe to just catalog the past, but after that I am not sure what to put up... unless I put up a tracks section, but there isn't much to put up for that section right now as far as new releases, unless I wanted to put up all of the old tracks people have made for the hell of it.
And last, I guess you might be able to tell in this news post that I am having a hard to deciding on what I want to do with this website. I could use it to promote modern stuff that is going on, or I could use it as a tool to archive all of the cool old stuff that was made on the way to where we are at now. I guess that is the difference between making the tracks section right now or making the events section right now, both have great value for both old and new content, but based on what I try and strive for the sections will be formed differently.
More Supported Mixes

Life has been anything but simple as of late. These days I wonder how I am going to get my "pay the bills" job done while doing of this mixing. It is a lot of fun but putting together a free website and updating it at the same time as doing a few other jobs, well its hard to find the time to make the website happen.
I am sure that I will have plenty of time in the future once things settle down for a little while on the playing out front, but for now it is full speed forward and I will try and update and fix up the website as often as I find time.
A lot of the work I have been doing on the site is to fix bugs and optimize the navigation process. I know a pretty decent amount of PHP and MYSQL but I am starting to push the limits of using those two languages with functions to make things much easier in the long run. I am sure I will figure it out soon here and the website will be much nicer because of it!
More LIVE Recordings

Got a couple new really excellent new recordings up in Live Recording just now, worth a listen for sure.
In other news, I have fixed a couple really crucial bugs in the supported DJs section so now I can finally start adding new DJs to that section as well as many more mixes.
I am thinking of creating an artist section for live recordings so that you can sort what you are looking at by artist as well as by event. This section might benefit from it, but really the idea behind the live recording section is to show what the events them selves sound like. What I will probably do is expand the amount of different events you can see at one time on the live recording page once it fills up.
Also in the pipe-line, the blog. I started the blog and it has not gotten shut down yet... I don't now if I am going to be able to keep it going, but I will try and start it up again here soon.
Also in the far future, I will be creating a place for tracks, both for myself and for supported DJs.
Live Audio In Works

So most of what a DJ does is live, producing tracks happens, but most DJs I know play out more than they produce, such as myself. Because of this very little content is available unless I make a super solid production mix and add it to the site.
To breathe a little life into this website I have decided to create a live event section. This section will encompass the recorded and mastered live versions of mixes that are played at various different events. The section will include all other artists mixes during those events if they are recorded, otherwise it will just contain the Parallel live mix from that event, as I will always record them from now on.
This section will be organized by events for now. It is possible to organize it by artist as well later on, but that wouldn't be necessary unless there was a large amount of data to play with in that section's database.
